Sorrow befalls the realm as news echoes the departure of Saya Song, transcending the mortal realm at the tender age of 37.
Saya Song died Sept. 4 at her home in Michigan, according to her published obituary.
The 37-year-old Korean-American performer entered the adult industry in 2015, amassing over 180 scenes before retiring from professional filming in 2022.
Song’s cause of death remains undisclosed, but a number of friends have posted on social media that she committed suicide. Some of them were alarmed on the day of her death, September 4, the last post on her X (Twitter) account read: “Nathan called the police on me. So if I die, it will be his fault.” A spokesman for the medical examiner’s office in Song’s home county said the cause of death was “still undetermined” and that laboratory results that would determine that could take several months.
Song has shot for major studios, and Evil Angel is full of scenes he filmed.
Song’s main interest in the past few years, however, has been independent content.
The obituary requested that friends wanting to pay their last respects send contributions toward the charity of Higgins in Michigan.
