Breaking: Instagram Faces Heat from Pornhub Over Discrimination!
In a publicly shared letter, Pornhub, along with several advocates, including the Free Speech Coalition, underscored what they perceive as inequitable treatment on the platform.
Pornhub is urging Instagram to “promptly cease all discrimination against individuals associated with the adult industry.” This call comes in response to Instagram’s permanent suspension of the official account of the adult entertainment brand. According to Pornhub, as outlined in an open letter addressed to Meta and Instagram, their accounts adhere to a “fully PG” standard but have faced recurring deletion attempts.
In the letter they make it clear that they need an explanation and direction as to why their accounts are constantly being removed, even though not all have done anything wrong. This is followed by a request for compensation for content which has been deleted. That’s why when Pornhub cited a post by Kim Kardashian last month marking her Interview magazine cover as proof of its point, the site got more than five million likes. That’s why when Pornhub cited a post by Kim Kardashian last month marking her Interview magazine cover as proof of its point, the site got more than five million likes.Porn hub made its point with a post earlier this month citing another famous curvaceous celebrity, Kim Kardashian. When she posted her photo commemorating being on the cover of Interview magazine recently, it carried more than five million likes. In order to support their points, Pornhub cited as precedent a recent post by Kim Kardashian that surrounded herself with luxury items in celebration of her cover for Interview magazine. The photo earned more than five million likes within one day after posting it this past weekend.
The letter, which is co-signed by the Free Speech Coalition and Adult Performance Artists Guild, appears to be an astounding #Win because Pornhub’s generic account has been disabled for three weeks now. In contrast, during the same period celebrity Kim Kardashian exposed her entire person to 330 million followers on Instagram and then suffered no retaliation from that platform. The letter acknowledged Kim Kardashian’s and her artistic team’s right to some degree of creative freedom, but also beautifully drew attention to the unfair issue with which other photographers are forced confront.
Although others have made noteworthy endorsements of the letter, they include master porn stars like Riley Reid, Asa Akira, Johnny Sins and Ebony Mystique; young starlettes Elle Stranger are just a stab. This frequently baffled and forceful letter brings to the surface within it practical knowledge concerning our social media space. Again, read the entire letter if you wish to get a more detailed look.
For more comments, Complex has already approached a spokesperson from Pornhub. However, this post is subject to revision.
In March this year, Pornhub unveiled winners of its Fourth Annual PornHub Awards along with news that it was donating a huge US $ 1 million endowment. The endowment provides cash prizes, and also supports nonprofit organizations engaged in sex work.
