Anikka Albrite became a legend with her many wins at the 2015 AVN Awards as well as the other big shows earlier this year. She won the Triple Crown – Female Performer of the Year at AVN, XRCO and XBIZ – and now she’s making AVN Awards headlines months before the show even happens with the announcement that she’ll be hosting the 2016 AVN Awards.
Anikka Albrite and Joanna Angel will be the co-hosts for the industry’s most famous event. Anikka Albrite is one of a handful of performers who have won the Performer of the Year award and returned to host the awards show.
The announcement was made on TMZ with both Anikka Albrite and Joanna Angel revealing the news.
“It was a huge honor to have been given the title of Female Performer of the Year for 2015, and never in my dreams did I think I would be chosen for hosting the awards for 2016,” Anikka Albrite told AVN.com. “I’m really honored and excited and very nervous. I can’t wait to host it with Joanna – I’ve never worked with her before but I’ve always admired her, so it’s going to be a lot of fun to get up there on the stage with her.”
